Preparation
  1. Wash the zucchini thoroughly and trim off both ends.
  2. Using a spiralizer, carefully transform the zucchini into noodle-like strands.
Cooking
  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet or pan over medium heat.
  2. Add the spiralized zucchini to the pan and cook for 3-5 minutes, tossing occasionally, until they are tender-crisp. Avoid overcooking to prevent sogginess.
  3. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Notes

For best results, do not overcook the zoodles; they should remain slightly firm. These "zoodles" pair well with a variety of sauces, from pesto to marinara, or simply a squeeze of lemon and fresh herbs.
