  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Black Pepper

Equipment

  • Mixing Bowl
  • Baking Sheet
  • Knife

Method

Preparation & Cooking
  1. Peel and cut two large sweet potatoes into evenly sized 1/4-inch thick fries, then submerge them in cold water for at least 30 minutes to remove excess starch.
  2. Drain and thoroughly dry the sweet potato fries, then toss them in a large bowl with olive oil, salt, and black pepper until well coated.
  3. Spread the seasoned fries in a single layer on a large baking sheet, ensuring they are not overcrowded to allow for even cooking.
  4. Bake in a preheated oven at 400°F (200°C) for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.

Notes

For extra crispiness, ensure the sweet potato fries are spread in a single layer on the baking sheet and don't overcrowd the pan.
