Preparation & Cooking
- Peel and cut two large sweet potatoes into evenly sized 1/4-inch thick fries, then submerge them in cold water for at least 30 minutes to remove excess starch.
- Drain and thoroughly dry the sweet potato fries, then toss them in a large bowl with olive oil, salt, and black pepper until well coated.
- Spread the seasoned fries in a single layer on a large baking sheet, ensuring they are not overcrowded to allow for even cooking.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 400°F (200°C) for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
Notes
For extra crispiness, ensure the sweet potato fries are spread in a single layer on the baking sheet and don't overcrowd the pan.
