  1. In a medium saucepan, bring the chicken broth to a boil.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the cornstarch and water to create a slurry.
  3. Slowly pour the cornstarch slurry into the boiling broth while stirring constantly.
  4. Reduce heat to a simmer, then slowly drizzle in the beaten eggs while continuously stirring to create fine egg ribbons. Stir in the soy sauce and sesame oil. Serve immediately, garnished with chopped green onions.

Notes

For extra flavor, you can add a pinch of ginger or garlic powder to the broth. For a richer soup, use a good quality chicken broth or homemade stock. Adjust the amount of soy sauce to your taste. You can also add other ingredients like mushrooms or tofu for more substance.
