  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Heat olive oil in a large pot or Dutch oven over medium heat, then add the chopped onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
Cooking Turkey
  1. Add the ground turkey to the pot, breaking it up with a spoon, and cook until browned, about 8-10 minutes; drain any excess fat.
Simmer
  1. Stir in the minced garlic, chili powder, cumin, paprika, oregano, salt, and pepper, cooking for another minute until fragrant.
  2. Pour in the crushed tomatoes, tomato sauce, kidney beans, black beans, and chicken broth, bringing the mixture to a simmer.
