  • 2 avocados mashed
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese shredded
  • 2 tomatoes diced
  • 3 green onions sliced
  • 0.5 cup black olives sliced
  • 0.5 cup salsa

Method
 

Assembly
  1. Spread the refried beans evenly onto the bottom of a large serving dish.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix the mashed avocados with a pinch of salt and spread this mixture as the second layer over the beans.
  3. Combine the sour cream with the taco seasoning, then spread it over the avocado layer.
  4. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the seasoned sour cream.
  5. Evenly distribute the diced tomatoes over the cheese layer.
  6. Scatter the sliced green onions and black olives over the tomatoes.
  7. Drizzle salsa over the top layer to finish the dip, and serve immediately with tortilla chips.

Notes

For extra flavor, you can add a squeeze of lime juice to the mashed avocado. This dip is best served fresh, but leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
