Instructions
  1. Juice the lemons to get approximately 1 cup of fresh lemon juice.
  2. In a large pitcher, combine the lemon juice and granulated sugar, stirring until the sugar completely dissolves.
  3. Add the cold water to the pitcher and stir well.
  4. Taste the lemonade and adjust the sweetness by adding more sugar if desired, or dilute with more water if it's too strong.
  5. Serve the lemonade immediately over ice, optionally garnished with lemon slices or fresh mint.

Notes

For an extra touch, you can muddle some fresh mint leaves in the pitcher before adding the water for a refreshing mint lemonade. You can also experiment with different sweeteners like honey or agave nectar.
