Preparation
- Preheat your grill or grill pan to medium-high heat. Pat the fish fillets dry with paper towels to ensure they cook evenly and get a nice sear.
Season & Grill
- Drizzle the fish fillets with olive oil, then sprinkle generously with taco seasoning on both sides. Grill the fish for 3-5 minutes per side, or until it's opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
Warm Tortillas & Assemble
- While the fish is grilling, warm your tortillas on the grill for about 30 seconds per side, or in a dry skillet. Flake the cooked fish into pieces using a fork. Assemble your tacos by placing the fish in the warm tortillas and adding your desired toppings like shredded cabbage, pico de gallo, and crema. Serve immediately with lime wedges.
Notes
For extra flavor, you can marinate the fish in lime juice, chili powder, cumin, and garlic powder for 15-30 minutes before grilling. Adjust seasoning to your taste. This recipe is highly customizable with your favorite taco toppings!
