This recipe is for a quick and easy garlic butter chicken that is perfect for a weeknight meal. The chicken is cooked in a flavorful garlic butter sauce and can be served with your favorite sides.

Main Ingredients
  • 4 large chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley chopped
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Pat dry the chicken breasts and season them with salt and pepper.
  2. Melt half of the butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Cooking
  1. Sear the chicken for 3-5 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through; remove chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  2. Add the remaining butter and minced garlic to the skillet, cooking for 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Pour in the chicken broth and lemon juice, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan; bring the sauce to a simmer.
  4. Return the chicken to the skillet, spooning the sauce over it, and sprinkle with fresh parsley.

Serve immediately with your favorite side dishes, such as rice, pasta, or steamed vegetables.
