Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 12 ounces Fettuccine pasta
  • 2 medium Boneless, skinless chicken breasts cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
For the Alfredo Sauce
  • 1.5 cups Heavy cream
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Equipment

  • Large pot
  • Large skillet
  • Whisk
  • Tongs

Method

Cooking Instructions
  1. Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package directions until al dente; drain and set aside.
  2. While the pasta cooks, heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken pieces and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  3. Reduce heat to medium, add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
  4. Pour in the heavy cream and bring it to a gentle simmer, stirring occasionally. Once simmering, gradually whisk in the grated Parmesan cheese until the sauce is smooth and thickened.
  5. Return the cooked chicken to the skillet with the Alfredo sauce. Add the cooked and drained fettuccine to the skillet and toss everything together until the pasta is well coated.
  6. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Serve hot and enjoy your Quick Chicken Alfredo!

Notes

For extra flavor, you can add a pinch of nutmeg to the Alfredo sauce. Fresh parsley or chives make a great garnish. If the sauce is too thick, add a splash of pasta water to reach your desired consistency.
