  • 2 cups vegetable oil for frying

  • 0.5 cup sugar
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Combine water, 2 tablespoons sugar, and salt in a saucepan; bring to a boil.
  2. Remove from heat and stir in the flour until a ball of dough forms.
Frying
  1. Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Pipe the churro dough into the hot oil, cutting them to your desired length.
  3. Fry until golden brown and crispy, then remove and drain on paper towels.
Finishing
  1. Mix the remaining sugar and cinnamon for coating.
  2. Toss the warm churros in the cinnamon sugar mixture until evenly coated.
  3. Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce.
