Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 275°F (135°C) and remove the membrane from the back of the ribs; pat them dry with paper towels.
- Generously apply the rub to both sides of the ribs, ensuring even coverage for maximum flavor.
Cooking
- Place the seasoned ribs on a baking tray, cover tightly with aluminum foil, and bake for 2.5 to 3 hours until tender.
- After baking, remove the foil, brush both sides of the ribs with BBQ sauce, and return to the oven at 375°F (190°C) for 15-20 minutes, or until the sauce is caramelized.
Finishing
- Remove the ribs from the oven, allow them to rest for 10 minutes before slicing, and serve hot.
Notes
For extra tenderness, consider slow cooking the ribs at a lower temperature for a longer period. Adjust the spice level of your rub and the sweetness of your BBQ sauce to suit your taste preferences.
