Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 2 cups peaches, ripe
  • 1 cup lemon juice, fresh
  • 0.5 cup sugar
  • 3 cups water plus more for simple syrup
Hack Ingredients
  • 10 mint leaves for garnish
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated for an extra kick
  • 1 cup sparkling water for fizz

Equipment

  • Saucepan
  • Blender
  • Large pitcher
  • Fine-mesh sieve (optional)

Method

Simple Syrup
  1. Combine granulated sugar and 1 cup of water in a saucepan over medium heat until the sugar dissolves. Let it cool completely.
Peach Puree & Zest Hack
  1. Blanch whole peaches in boiling water for 30 seconds, then immediately transfer them to an ice bath for easy peeling. After peeling, dice and blend the peaches into a smooth puree.
Sparkling Water Hack
  1. In a large pitcher, combine the peach puree, fresh lemon juice, simple syrup, and remaining water. Stir well to combine. For serving, pour the peach lemonade into glasses and top with sparkling water for a delightful fizz. Garnish with fresh mint leaves and a slice of peach.
Ginger Infusion Hack
  1. For an extra kick, add fresh grated ginger to the simple syrup while it's still warm to infuse the flavor. Strain the simple syrup through a fine-mesh sieve before adding it to the lemonade mixture.

Notes

For extra sweetness, adjust the amount of simple syrup to your liking. This lemonade is best served chilled with plenty of ice. You can also make a large batch and store it in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Feel free to experiment with other fruits like raspberries or strawberries to create your own unique flavor combinations.
