Cooking Steps
- In a large pot, bring enough water to a rolling boil to cover your ingredients. Add the Old Bay seasoning, garlic, and both halves of the lemon to the boiling water.
- Add the potatoes to the boiling water and cook for about 8-10 minutes, or until they are almost tender.
- Next, add the corn to the pot and continue to cook for 3-5 minutes, until both the corn and potatoes are tender.
- Finally, add the shrimp to the pot and cook for 2-3 minutes, or until the shrimp turn pink and are cooked through.
- Carefully drain the water from the pot and discard the lemon halves.
- Pour the melted butter over the shrimp, potatoes, and corn, then sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving immediately.
Notes
For extra flavor, you can add a quartered onion to the boiling water along with the lemon and garlic. Adjust Old Bay seasoning to your spice preference.
