Preparation
- In a bowl, combine sliced beef with 1 tablespoon of soy sauce, sesame oil, and cornstarch; marinate for at least 15 minutes.
- Prepare all vegetables by slicing the bell pepper and julienning the carrots, then mince the ginger and garlic.
Cooking
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat, then add the marinated beef and stir-fry until browned and cooked through, about 3-5 minutes.
- Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside; add broccoli and carrots to the same skillet and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until slightly tender-crisp.
- Add bell pepper, ginger, and garlic to the skillet, cooking for another 2 minutes until fragrant.
- Return the cooked beef to the skillet with the vegetables, add the remaining soy sauce, and toss everything together to combine and heat through.
Serving
- Serve the beef stir-fry immediately over rice or noodles for a complete meal.
Notes
For extra flavor, consider adding a pinch of red pepper flakes with the ginger and garlic. Adjust soy sauce to your taste preferences, and feel free to experiment with other vegetables like snap peas or mushrooms.
