  • 4 salmon fillets about 6 oz each
  • 1 lemon sliced
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley chopped
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Pat the salmon fillets dry with a paper towel and season both sides with salt and pepper.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, minced garlic, and chopped parsley.
Cooking
  1. Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet and drizzle the olive oil mixture over each fillet.
  2. Arrange lemon slices on top of each salmon fillet.
  3. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
Serving
  1. Serve the lemon garlic salmon immediately, garnished with extra fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

For extra flavor, you can marinate the salmon in the olive oil and garlic mixture for 15-30 minutes before baking.
