  • 1 Jalapeño seeded and minced

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Halve and pit the avocados, then scoop the flesh into a medium-sized bowl using a spoon.
  2. Mash the avocado flesh with a fork or a potato masher until you reach your desired consistency, leaving some chunks for texture.
  3. Add the fresh lime juice, finely diced red onion, chopped cilantro, and minced jalapeño to the mashed avocado.
  4. Gently fold all the ingredients together until they are well combined, then season the mixture with salt to taste.
  5. Serve your freshly made guacamole immediately with tortilla chips or cover tightly and refrigerate for up to an hour before serving.

Notes

For best flavor, use ripe avocados and adjust the amount of jalapeño to control the spice level. To prevent browning, press plastic wrap directly onto the surface of the guacamole.
