Deviled Eggs
- Place eggs in a pot, cover with cold water, bring to a boil, then cover and let sit for 10-12 minutes off heat.
- Transfer cooked eggs to an ice bath, then peel once cooled completely.
- Slice eggs in half lengthwise and carefully scoop out the yolks into a small bowl.
- Mash the yolks with mayonnaise, mustard, vinegar, salt, and pepper until smooth and creamy.
- Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into the egg white halves.
- Garnish with a sprinkle of paprika before serving.
Notes
For easy peeling, ensure eggs are not super fresh. Adding a pinch of baking soda to the boiling water can also help. For an extra creamy filling, press the yolks through a fine-mesh sieve.
