  • 60 slices Bread slices
  • 2.5 lbs Cooked chicken or turkey breast, thinly sliced
  • 20 strips Bacon, cooked and crispy
  • 1 head Lettuce leaves
  • 4 large Tomatoes, sliced
  • 1 cup Mayonnaise
  • Toothpicks or skewers for securing sandwiches

Method
 

Assembly
  1. Lay out all the bread slices on a large surface, then lightly toast them if desired for extra crispness and spread mayonnaise on one side of each slice.
  2. Place a layer of lettuce on half of the mayonnaise-coated bread slices, followed by a layer of sliced chicken or turkey.
  3. Place another slice of bread on top of the chicken/turkey layer, then add a layer of crispy bacon and sliced tomatoes.
  4. Top with the remaining bread slices, mayonnaise-side down, completing the sandwich assembly.
  5. Carefully slice each stacked sandwich into quarters diagonally, securing each quarter with a toothpick or skewer to hold the layers together for serving.
