  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with milk, beginning and ending with the dry ingredients. Mix until just combined.
  5. Divide batter evenly among the prepared muffin cups, filling each about two-thirds full.
  6. Bake for 18-22 minutes, or until a wooden skewer inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Let cupcakes cool in the muffin tin for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
